Num Num Num Num Num
Ok, so here is a post for the fatties or to put it in a nicer way "lovers of food". http://www.twit.tv/mc is a great podcast for lovers of food, they get a topic and speak for 30+ minutes about it. During the podcast they give out recipes, websites and even find old jingles or songs pertaining to said topic on www.youtube.com or around the net. This past week was a mailbag podcast, in which they dip into the e-mailbag and get food topics that they can spend a couple of minutes on. This podcast is guaranteed to help you in your goal of wearing a bigger pant size, everything they talk about it good. The podcast they did on Fairs was great, seeing that the LA county fair is going on right now. During the fair podcast they spoke about hotdogs that could kill you, deep frying everything and sweets that would give you a cavatiy just looking at it. Check it out and give it a listen, its free and its something to listen to while your doing work.

Traffic School
So yesterday I went to traffic school, oh what fun I had. I started the day off by almost getting there late, they said to be there at 7:45am, and I actually got there at 7:40am. I had forgotten to take out money so I could pay the certificate for traffic school, they didn't tell me upon paying the $50+ I had to pay at the court that I would have to pay additional revenue for a piece of paper. I also like that fact that because I recieved the ticket in Orange County and I am taking traffic school in Los Angeles County, I either have to drop the certificate off at the OC courts myself or pay to have it mailed in by certified mail.Anywho, back to my wonderful day at traffic school. Once there we had to get in a single file line and "check in", I felt as if I were in prison, a line of people who did not want to be there waiting in line for a class they did not want to attend. So after we register for the hell that is traffic school, a DVD is put on featuring all of your favorite 80's players, skits and sketches from Candid Camera, The Tracy Ulleman Show, some Steve Martin movie and other sketches that were from the BBC in England. After that our muffin top teacher ( http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=muffin+top ) comes and introduces herself and tells us that this is going to be an 8 hour course and she will try to make it as fun as possible. After that she introduces a fellow traffic school "student" who says he is a traffic defense lawyer, which brings up the question of what the hell is he doing in this class. After Stan the attorney gives his little speech on himself we go back to watching another video, now the videos have gone from "funny" to boring instructional videos, after that we take a break. After the break we come back for more videos and discussions on charts about what a car does and its parts, another discussion and video later we go to lunch, after we come back its really boring vidoes and finally we fill out our certificate, which looks like a receipt. After one more "Dateline" video about alcohol and falling asleep we get to leave, an hour and a half early.
Oh man was that the most boring experience of my life to date, I was constantly moving around because the crappy chair made my ass flat and fall asleep, the people around me had smart ass remarks about everything that went on, there was a stupid lady who thought she was funny but really just annoying making comments about the videos, and of course there were the people who smelled like farts and smoke.
Traffic School = Epic Fail

Is that like a sequel.....
So "Zack and Miri Make a Porno" is coming out on October 31, yes halloween. This is another film from the creative genious that is...Mr. Kevin Smith.

I have a been a fan of Mr. Smith for some time now, starting back when I was in middle school and I watched a little movie called "Mallrats". Upon seeing the movie not only became a fan but totally connected with the comedy duo "Jay and Silent Bob", Kevin Smith playing as "Silent Bob". I did a little investigating after I watched "Mallrats" and found a, now cult, movie called "Clerks". "Clerks" was a different film, even though shot in the 90's, the film stayed in black and white. I again connected with the J & SB duo as well as the clerks themselves "Dante" and "Randall". Years went by and I kept falling deeper and deeper into the Kevin Smith "love well", "Vulgar", "Drawing Flies", "Chasing Amy", "Dogma", "Jay and Silen Bob Strike Back", "Jersey Girl" and of course "Clerks 2", I also am a fan of his speaking tours, both on DVD "A Evening with Kevin Smith" and "An Evening with Kevin Smith 2: Evening Harder". As I mentioned before his new movie is "Zack and Miri Make a Porno", if you need me to tell what the movie is about please walk over to a mirror, look in it and laugh...but I digress. The movie stars Seth Rogan and Elizabeth Banks, both who I first saw in "40 Year Old Virgin", the movie looks great and you should check it out, here is the red band trailer for the movie....ok, so let me explain the "bands", green band is an all ages trailer, red band is a trailer with "R" rated material in it, enjoy
Also check out his site, www.viewaskew.com, where you can buy kewl things from his movies and even his collections of writings, I have one of his books and it is awesome. I also subscribe to his podcast, called SModcast, you can find it on itunes, its really funny. If you are a www.youtube.com watcher, you can also look for "The Flying Car", it is a short he did for Jay Leno for The Tonight Show, he also did little segment called "Roadside Attractions"...guess what its about.
Well thats all for now, I am feeling a little sick so I am going to drug up and head to bed
The Root of All Evil
I am in need of more money, I am living comfortably with one job, but extra income would help out just a little more. I think I might dip back in the retail pool just for the discounts and the upcoming X-Mas season, I don't plan to make much, but hey anything is better than nothing. I have also hit up some businesses for data entry and minor clerical work, hopefully something comes up. This month is kinda busy as far as weekends go, quicieneras, medical stuff, birthdays, I don't want to miss anything but then again I know I am in need of money so I must make some sacrafices, either way, something will turn up

My Header
Its kinda small so let me point some things out to you, the left hand side has Cloud and Sepiroth battling from "Final Fantasy: Advent Children", say what you want but remember, I am a hard core Final Fantasy lover, the middle is my "online handle" Demonol. To be quite honest with you I have no idea how I came up with it, but its there and its mine, so ha. On each side of Demonol you will find two, identical but shrunken down to size, light sabers. I am also a big Star Wars fan, Boba Fett FTW!! Above my name is Mega Man, or if your in Japan Rock Man, but since I am american and I know no better, he will be Mega Man. Mega Man was a game that originated (at least for me) on the NES, for those who do not know Nintendo lingo, NES means Nintendo Entertainment System. To the right of Demonol, we have Link, who is wildly known for being the hero in the "Legend of Zelda" series, also a game that originated (again for me) on he NES. I really didnt know what else to put there, maybe later I will photoshop some other characters from my video game past in there, but for now that will have to do.
My quest for the Xbox 360 Elite
So yeah, I'm months...nay...years behind everyone else in the Xbox 360 world, but what can I say, I am a die hard Nintendo guy, been this way since I was 7 and I got the NES. Anywho, to those who know me know that I love me the Final Fantasy, sure you can kid about the metrosexual characters and the same story over and over again, but I don't care. I will get more into my love of Final Fantasy later, but for now I will focus on my quest and another reason for me to fullfill my quest, I want an Xbox 360 Elite, for 2 reasons
1. Final Fantasy 13
2. The large hard drive for saving DLC and XBLA games
3. yeah those other games that are not Final Fantasy
OK, so for the most part I want the Xbox 360 Elite for FF13. I would call that game a system seller due to that game making me want to shell out $500 for the system and game, lets see if I can fullfill my quest by the end of the year or at least before the next genereation of the XBOX is out. Here is to the XBOX 360 Elite, my current holy grail....
